Hyte Unveils the Bold X50 PC Case at Computex 2025

Hyte's new case design stands out at Computex 2025 with its vibrant colors and unique mesh front.

Computex 2025 is vibrant with colorful cases this year, particularly the X50 by Hyte. The company showcased this rounded, mesh design, diverging sharply from the conventional angular aesthetics popular in today’s market.

The X50, priced at $150, and its sibling model, the X50 Air at $120, were prominently featured at the Hyte booth. The X50 boasts a 4 mm thick laminated acoustic glass side panel, available in various color options such as black, white, red, pink, and green, each with its own whimsical designation.

A notable feature of the X50 is its mesh front panel, which lacks a traditional dust filter, with the manufacturer’s claim that the design will prevent dust accumulation inside. The company confidently brands it as a ‘modern performance case’.

Additionally, Hyte is developing a 120 mm, 1,500 rpm fan, dubbed the Flow FA12, in colors matching its current case lineup. The design process for the front panel involved advanced automotive-grade tooling for precision manufacturing.

Hyte acknowledges some potential challenges with cooling efficiency due to the design choices, such as the dust filter absence and the PSU placement at the top, which might contribute to heat retention.

Overall, while the X50’s design may be polarizing, its introduction at Computex showcases Hyte’s willingness to innovate, promising something refreshingly different in the realm of PC cases.
