The survival horror dungeon crawler Labyrinth of the Demon King has become a favorite since its launch, ranking high on my personal list alongside titles like Avowed and Oblivion Remastered. I didn’t expect to be captivated during my five-hour flight where I ended up absorbed in the game.
Just one week after its release, the small development team has already announced new features and bug fixes in the game’s first update:
- Framerate cap options implemented; users are warned of unpredictable behavior at very high frame rates.
- Fixes to the torch system and various other minor errors, enhancing gameplay experience.
Looking ahead, exciting features such as a new spiked knuckle weapon are in development, which will add to the game’s gritty first-person melee combat.
In addition to the tense atmosphere, Labyrinth of the Demon King offers one of the most engaging first-person brawling experiences seen in years, with a punishing stamina system that ensures every encounter is a challenge.
