When the collector, known as u/GPU-Collector, started their journey, they were astonished by the extent of their collection which includes GPUs from as early as the Riva TNT (1998) to the GeForce 8800 Ultra (2007).
“It’s a value that is highly dependent on collectors such as myself who are willing to pay several hundreds of dollars for a 20-year-old piece of hardware.”
Their collection includes rare finds like the 6800 Ultra, a significant GPU milestone, representing a pivotal technological shift from 32-bit to 64-bit. Despite investing a considerable amount over the years, their favorite card remains the 6800 Ultra, which played a crucial role in gaming history, particularly known for titles such as Far Cry, Half-Life, and Doom 3.
