Blood Harvesting in Dune: Awakening Beta Exceeds 8 Million Liters

The Dune: Awakening beta attracted players who harvested an astonishing amount of blood, equivalent to multiple Olympic-sized swimming pools.

Recently, players engaged in the Dune: Awakening beta achieved a remarkable feat by extracting 8,715,331 liters of blood from enemies. For context, this amount is enough to fill three Olympic-sized swimming pools, a rather morbid statistic considering the game’s context.

In just four days, 107,959 players encountered a series of dramatic deaths; many were consigned to the sandworm’s maw while others succumbed to dehydration in the unforgiving desert.

While the blood harvested raises concerns about in-game ethics, it’s crucial to understand that players don’t consume this blood directly. Extracted blood is processed in blood purifiers to become drinkable water. Over the beta period, players used nearly 151,749 liters of this purified water.

The beta stats reveal an engaging playstyle where players utilized nearly 1.7 million turrets and executed 2.6 million melee attacks. The most used action was the shigawire claw, which players fired approximately 8.4 million times for swift movement around the map.

The Dune: Awakening MMO launches on June 10, and the community is buzzing with anticipation.
