Steam’s Creature Collector Fest is currently happening, featuring various creature-collecting games available at discounted prices. While these games are inspired by the mechanics similar to Pokémon, they are termed distinct enough to avoid legal issues with Nintendo. Titles included in the sale are Palworld, Ooblets, Temtem, and Slime Rancher, among others.

The Steam page promotes the sale by urging players to “collect fantastical creatures, tame monsters, and score discounts while doing it”. However, notable absentees from the sale of this nature are titles that may draw too much attention from Nintendo, suggesting that many of these games are safe unless they rise in popularity substantially.

The fest runs until May 19, offering fans of the genre a chance to grab these titles at great prices. Some standout discounts include Slime Rancher 2 at $20.99, Cult of the Lamb at $12.49, and Temtem at an impressive $13.49 on sale.
