Changes to REPO's Overcharge Mechanic Respond to Player Feedback

The developers of REPO have announced that the Overcharge mechanic, which penalizes players for grabbing onto monsters, will now activate after 10 levels based on community feedback.

The developers behind the cooperative horror game REPO have shared important updates regarding game mechanics following player feedback from their recent open beta updates. They will now implement a significant change to the Overcharge mechanic, which imposes penalties on players who cling to monsters. This feature is now set to engage only after players have achieved 10 levels, integrating it with a broader difficulty scale that will introduce new challenges every ten levels.

“Huge thanks for testing and letting us know your bugs and feedback—helps us out a lot!” said the developers.

In addition to this adjustment, the upcoming updates will roll out various enhancements aimed at improving gameplay experience. Players can look forward to new features in the ongoing open beta, including a server region selector and various quality of life improvements. Among these changes, a humorous addition is a bucket that players can use to manage the troublesome in-game duck.
