Epic Expands Fortnite Rewards Amid App Store Comeback

Epic Games is enhancing its Rewards program for Fortnite, encouraging users to utilize their payment system as the game prepares to relaunch on the App Store.

As Fortnite gears up for its return to iOS in the US, Epic Games is ramping up its Rewards initiative designed to motivate users to choose its payment system over Apple’s. Players buying items in Fortnite, Rocket League, or Among Us can now earn a generous 20% back in Epic Rewards.

This offer is a significant upgrade from the standard 5% returned on Epic Games Store purchases. For example, spending $23 on 2,800 V-Bucks can earn players $4.60 back in Epic Rewards.

The new Rewards structure applies across all platforms and is a permanent feature. Epic’s push comes alongside its announcement of a submission for Fortnite’s review for a re-launch on Apple’s App Store. Recently, Epic has also emphasized its ability to direct players to use their own payment methods thanks to a favorable ruling in its lengthy legal battle with Apple.
