Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's Latest Update Addresses Unintended Damage Outputs

The latest patch for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 fixes an exploit that allowed players to deal excessive damage, along with other balancing adjustments.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has rolled out its first proper hotfix patch. The significant bug surrounding the weapon Medalum, which allowed a damage output of 2 billion, has been rectified. The Stendhal ability has also been nerfed as part of this update.

“We gave it a big damage boost and clearly overdid it.”

Overall, while the update features a selection of minor fixes, it importantly addresses the imbalance in the game. New adjustments include reduced geometry in the world map and enhancements to ultrawide support.

Further balance changes included reduced attribute scaling for certain weapons, ensuring that damage outputs are now consistent across gameplay. Improvements have also been implemented for mouse and keyboard controls, enhancing the player experience significantly.

For full patch notes and details on these changes, stay tuned as further updates are expected to follow. The Expedition 33 team is committed to addressing gameplay issues and listening to community feedback.
