Fnatic Parts Ways with Coach Casle; Independent to Step In

Peter 'casle' Ardenskjold has been moved to an inactive position after six months with Fnatic, while Miks 'Independent' Siliņš takes on the interim coaching role.

Fnatic has announced the departure of coach Peter “casle” Ardenskjold after a six-month tenure. The Dane is now listed on the inactive roster, while Miks “Independent” Siliņš, the assistant coach, will take over until further notice during the team’s participation in the Tipsport Conquest of Prague 2025.

Casle joined Fnatic at the start of 2025 after a successful stint in Denmark, primarily with MASONIC and then with Astralis’ academy. His best result during this period was a semi-final finish at IEM Cologne 2023. After his move to Fnatic, he briefly coached the team through a transitional phase but has been deemed unsuitable as the team evolves its leadership approach.

Independent, 26, has previously coached teams like Wolsung and The Prodigies, bringing experience to his new role at Fnatic.
