The developers of the acclaimed Art of Rally are pivoting towards off-road ventures with their latest project, Over the Hill. Unlike their previous racing titles, this game aims to deliver a tranquil driving experience through diverse terrains.

Game Features

Over the Hill invites players to navigate iconic vehicles from the 1960s to 1980s within a beautiful open world. Players can enjoy day-night cycles, changing weather, and a lack of conventional roads. The game will feature hidden objectives, various upgrades, and options for customization, allowing players to either explore at leisure or tackle challenges alone or in groups of up to three.

Dune Casu, the founder of Funselektor, expressed his vision:

“After having developed several games about motorsport, we wanted to go off-track by offering players a vast world to lose themselves at a slower pace. In a way, this game is similar to the experience I’ve had journeying across North America in my trusty camper van. There’s something special about being in the wilderness in the middle of nowhere, from the peace, the sounds of nature and less distraction from the civilized world. I hope this game can really drive that feeling home.”

Over the Hill promises to focus on exploration and discovery, providing a more accessible and enjoyable experience for players who appreciate driving games but may not excel at competitive racing. While no release date has been announced yet, the game can be added to wishlists on Steam.
