Exploring 30 Years of Warhammer Video Games in New Book

A new book detailing 30 years of Warhammer video games is set to be released soon, offering insights and commentary on beloved titles.

Games Workshop has announced that Penguin’s Dorling Kindersley imprint will soon release three Warhammer-themed books: The Art of Warhammer Video Games, Warhammer 40,000 Character Encyclopedia, and Words of War: The Miniature Book of Space Marine Quotes, which humorously resembles The Little Book of Calm but with a focus on combat.

The Art of Warhammer Video Games, authored by Andy Hall, will delve into noteworthy titles like Dawn of War, Rogue Trader, and more, showcasing a variety of games spanning three decades. Andy commented, “Authoring a book about video games while working on a video game has kept me quite busy. Nevertheless, writing over 20,000 words covering decades of Warhammer games has been easier than expected. I can’t wait for readers to embark on this epic journey with me!”

The book, packed with never-before-seen concept art and insightful commentary, will be available starting November 11 and can be preordered through major retailers.
