Nvidia and MediaTek Expected to Unveil New Arm Laptop Chips at Computex 2025
New Nvidia and MediaTek chips may revolutionize Windows on Arm laptops.
Nvidia and MediaTek are rumored to unveil their latest Windows on Arm laptop chips at the upcoming Computex event later this month. This announcement follows speculation that these chips could significantly enhance competition against AMD’s APUs.
According to ComputerBase, the Nvidia PC chip will be introduced in collaboration with MediaTek, building on the existing GB10 processor found in the DGX Spark home supercomputer. It is anticipated that this new chipset will integrate Arm-designed CPU cores rather than custom Nvidia designs, which had been the subject of prior speculation.
Compatibility with Windows on Arm (WoA) remains a focal point, especially in light of challenges in gaming performance. Previous models from Qualcomm, such as their Snapdragon X Elite chips, have demonstrated promising battery life, albeit with some undergoing difficulties in running certain games effectively due to emulation issues.
As both Nvidia and MediaTek are set to present keynotes at Computex on May 19 and 20 respectively, this could serve as the best platform for unveiling their partnership’s upcoming consumer SoC.

The potential performance of the upcoming chips is still a matter of speculation. While anticipation is high, the actual capabilities will only be confirmed with time.
