Rumors about the AMD RX 9060 XT Graphics Card Resurface with 8 GB Model Expected

Exciting developments pertaining to the potential debut of the AMD RX 9060 XT graphics card are making waves, particularly regarding an 8 GB variant.

As we edge closer to Computex, anticipation for new PC gaming hardware is on the rise, with much discussion surrounding entry-level components. Notably, there is a buzz surrounding the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT, which many hope will invigorate the entry-level graphics card market. Recent rumors suggest that an 8 GB version of this card is indeed in the works.

Sources from Benchlife have indicated that, contrary to recent speculations, there are no plans to cease production or cancel the 8 GB model of the RX 9060 XT. Their statement noted, “We have reliable sources telling us that there is currently no plan to stop supply or cancel it…The market rumors are unfounded.”

Current listings have primarily shown 16 GB versions, prompting some to question the likelihood of an 8 GB variant ever making a debut. However, according to these reliable sources, we can expect both 8 GB and 16 GB versions to launch around the same time, possibly announced at AMD’s upcoming Computex press conference.

While there is skepticism about the adequacy of 8 GB of VRAM for gaming by 2025, a budget option from AMD may just be the fresh alternative the market needs, especially as some major AAA games have shown that 8 GB can suffice under certain conditions. As for performance expectations, early indications suggest that the RX 9060 XT may deliver roughly half the power of the RX 9070 XT.

Stay tuned for more updates as we await both AMD’s official announcements and further developments in the GPU landscape.
