Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Breaks Records with Over 1 Million Sales in Just Three Days

The RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has surpassed 1 million copies sold in just three days after release, outperforming other popular titles.

Sacre bleu!

As reported by Kepler Interactive on X, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has sold over 1 million copies within just three days of its release. While this sales figure is somewhat slower compared to the record-breaking performance of Metaphor: ReFantazio, which sold a million copies in its first day, it still positions Expedition 33 as a significant contender in the RPG genre.

Despite being available on Game Pass, Expedition 33 has achieved a remarkable peak player count of 121,422 on Steam, outstripping Metaphor: ReFantazio’s peak of 85,961 players.

This achievement showcases both the game’s immense popularity and its resonance with fans of role-playing games. The title is a fresh offering, with a distinctly French style that sets it apart from typical RPGs and avoids traditional mechanics such as MP or inventory management.

For those invested in RPGs, playing this title is highly recommended.
