Bethesda Invites Players to Share Suggestions for Oblivion Remastered, Including Difficulty Adjustments and More Shortcut Slots

Bethesda is seeking player input on how to enhance Oblivion Remastered, focusing on difficulty settings and inventory management.

In 2025, Bethesda is reaching out to gamers for ideas on how to improve the recently released Oblivion Remastered. This new version has fixed various issues with the original, repurposed some elements, and even introduced new content. Now, the developer is inviting players to contribute their thoughts on potential enhancements, especially regarding gameplay challenges and inventory options.

Many players are engaging in discussions via a dedicated Discord channel, sharing diverse suggestions—which include requests to port over Skyrim’s combat system, although some ideas are deemed unlikely to be implemented. Notably, a trending recommendation is adjusting the game’s difficulty, as it currently offers an unsatisfactory transition between the default Adept level and the considerably harder Expert mode.

Additionally, players have voiced desires for an improved inventory management system that would allow sorting items in a more user-friendly manner, such as by type instead of weight or value. Ideas like the capability to sell multiple items at once and increased shortcut slots are also high on the wish list.

Gamers are encouraged to visit Bethesda’s Discord channel to add their own suggestions, fostering a community-driven approach to enhancing this beloved title.
