RoboCop: Rogue City Expansion Inspired by Dredd Set for July Release

The upcoming expansion, 'Unfinished Business', features RoboCop as he battles through a skyscraper controlled by mercenaries.

Release Date Announcement for the Unfinished Business Expansion

The new expansion titled RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is set for a July release. This addition draws heavy influence from the 2012 action film Dredd. It centers around RoboCop, who battles through an OmniCorp skyscraper overtaken by mercenaries, with several missions that flash back to his earlier days as a police officer.

New Features

The announcement also included a new story trailer providing insight into the plot at the OmniCorp building. Notably, the structure is designed to house the homeless of Detroit and includes advanced technology that may control all OmniCorp devices, potentially including RoboCop himself.

The trailer introduces several new characters, with a scientist named Miranda assisting RoboCop throughout the skyscraper. Additionally, the mercenary leader is speculated to be a character from RoboCop’s past, hinting at a connection to Max Becker, featured in the original game.

Overall, there are high hopes that this expansion will enhance the insights and satire reminiscent of the original film, as the character of RoboCop and the atmospheric representation of Detroit were well-received in the previous game release. Teyon, the developers, continue to evolve, and anticipation builds for Unfinished Business, expected to land on July 17.
