Just two months after its January 2025 collector’s edition sold out, Clair Obscur was officially released on April 24 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, quickly garnering rave reviews across the board.

Douse highlighted the game’s cast, which includes Baldur’s Gate 3 stars, and pointed out that the game’s success is attributed to the small yet dedicated team behind it. In a passionate social media post, he remarked, “This game was crafted by a team of just 30 members, which is impressive given its quality.” He also encouraged fans to purchase the game rather than play it via Xbox Game Pass, as this would offer more support to the developers.
