Crusader Kings 3, Paradox’s innovative RPG and grand strategy blend, has achieved a notable milestone, crossing 4 million in sales just over four years post-launch.
While this figure is impressive for a strategy game with a niche appeal, it highlights the potential for even greater engagement. Paradox, the developer, has ample reason to celebrate, but the message is clear: the game could reach an even wider audience.
I’ve passionately followed this series, sharing my insights regularly. Though I awarded Baldur’s Gate 3 the highest score (at least in PC Gamer’s review standards), CK3 holds a more special place in my heart.
Every time I start a new campaign, choosing a dynasty to guide, I’m continually amazed by the vast possibilities it offers, particularly with the numerous downloadable content (DLC) expansions.
With the latest expansion, Roads to Power, enhancing the RPG experience, allowing players to embody a wandering noble, and the upcoming Khans of the Steppe, players have even more reasons to explore this captivating sandbox.
Despite its ongoing evolution since 2020, the game continues to grow and improve, making now an excellent time for newcomers to join in.
