Update Announced for RuneScape: Dragonwilds

RuneScape: Dragonwilds reveals patch details aimed at enhancing gameplay experience with adjusted event frequencies.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds will be rolling out a notable update in its Version 0.7.1.5 patch. Key changes involve extending cooldown periods for significant in-game events. Here are some details of the adjustments:

  • Ghornfell Raids will have their cooldown period shifted from every 2 in-game days to 4 days, allowing players more preparation time.
  • Base Raids are also impacted with a grace period increase from 9 to 12 in-game days and a decrease in their occurrence chance from 10% to 5%.
  • Similarly, cooldown for Hunted Events has been doubled.

Additionally, meteor barrage events from General Velgar will be less frequent, reducing from five to two strikes.

It’s worth noting that these efforts appear directed toward increasing the content availability as the game steadily approaches a full release. The official launch date for the patch has yet to be announced, but it is anticipated within the upcoming days.

Despite initial strong engagement, the player count has been declining, which raises expectations for these changes to refresh the gameplay experience as noted by players increasingly seeking new content.
