Cyberpunk 2077 Integrates Nvidia DLSS Technology for Upcoming Switch 2 Release

The latest Cyberpunk 2077 edition for Switch 2 will leverage Nvidia's DLSS for enhanced gameplay performance.

Ahead of the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, CD Projekt Red has confirmed that the upcoming port of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will utilize Nvidia’s Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) technology in both Handheld and Docked modes. This latest version for the Switch 2 aims to provide a 30 FPS quality setting along with a performance mode that targets 40 FPS.

The announcement comes during a busy period for Nintendo leading up to the console’s launch. Nintendo has stated that their pre-orders for the Switch 2 will commence on April 24 at various retailers, including Best Buy and GameStop. Importantly, while prices for the console and games will remain unchanged despite industry tariffs, add-ons like the Switch 2 Pro Controller have seen a slight price increase.

Summary

  • Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 integrates Nvidia DLSS for enhanced performance.
  • It will feature a Quality Mode at 30 FPS and a Docked Performance Mode at 40 FPS.
  • Handheld Performance Mode will upscale to 720p with the same 40 FPS aim.
