Background
Tequila Works had previously experienced a series of cuts and cancellations, including the halt of an unannounced project. By the end of 2022, the company was under the majority ownership of Tencent.
In a statement released late last year, General Manager Térence Mosca expressed pride in the team’s achievements while acknowledging that “prolonged market conditions” led to the difficult decision of insolvency.
