The RED Canids have made significant roster changes by benching João “felps” Vasconcellos and Henrique “HEN1” Teles following their disappointing campaign in the South America Regional Qualifier for the BLAST.tv Austin Major.

“Initially, we aimed to secure a spot in the Major, and we recognize that this was also your objective,” the organization stated in an official announcement. “Despite our efforts, we failed to qualify, and we appreciate both for their dedication.”

The team had a rocky qualifier journey, unable to secure a map win, with a notable loss against Legacy and an elimination by BESTIA.

This benching marks the latest in a series of roster alterations by RED Canids, who have made multiple changes in the past year, including previous benchings of players David “dav1deuS” Tapia Maldonado and Gabriel “nython” Lino, who were replaced by felps and Marcelo “nyezin” Ramos.

Now, with only five players remaining, the current roster for RED Canids includes:

• Carlos “venomzera” Eduardo
• Marcelo “coldzera” David
• André “drop” Abreu
