On April 17, Square Enix confirmed that the Kingdom Hearts All-In-One Package, which includes ten titles up to the base version of Kingdom Hearts 3, will be available for physical PS4 re-release on June 12. Notably, this physical version will only be available in Europe, nearly five years after its North American launch.
The package consists of:
- Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX
- Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue
- Kingdom Hearts 3
The HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX compilation integrates the first two main games of the series along with Birth By Sleep, Re: Chain of Memories, and cinematic sequences from 358/2 Days and Re:Coded. Similarly, the HD 2.8 compilation features the high-definition version of the 3DS title Dream Drop Distance, which sets the stage for KH3. Each title includes original and remastered soundtracks crafted by Yoko Shimomura.
Pre-orders are currently live across various European retailers, although North American customers can still find copies for approximately $40 at sites like Amazon. This ten-game collection covers the entire Dark Seeker Saga, featuring various Disney and Pixar worlds and characters.
The saga’s playable segment begins with Birth By Sleep, illustrating the poignant story of Terra, Ventus, and Aqua—all of whom significantly influence the destinies of Sora, Riku, and Kairi.
As Kingdom Hearts 4 remains under development at Square Enix, the Kingdom Hearts All-In-One Package will serve as one of the optimal methods for fans to re-engage with Kingdom Hearts 3 and catch up on the overarching narrative leading to the upcoming installment.
