Dragons vs Drugs
Since time immemorial, a fierce battle has been underway between dragons and the allure of drugs in gaming. Currently, dragons are taking the spotlight as RuneScape: Dragonwilds secures the top spot on Steam’s sales chart, surpassing Schedule 1.
Schedule 1 had enjoyed significant success while at the helm, captivating players with its unique drug-dealing simulation that combines fun narratives with climbing stakes.
Now, it’s the time for RuneScape: Dragonwilds to bask in glory. This game, merging a classic MMORPG with elements of a beloved trend, has surprised many, including myself, reaching high sales figures. Colleagues from PC Gamer have also shared their enjoyment of it.
Despite the reign of dragons, drugs still boast impressive player counts. Schedule 1 is currently in a strong fourth position on Steam’s most played list, with a peak player count of 241,699, outpacing Path of Exile 2 significantly.
Conversely, Dragonwilds is still establishing its presence, recorded at 47th place with a commendable 41,270 players at its peak today.
As the battle rages on, both dragons and drugs contribute to an exciting gaming landscape, leaving fans eager to see who will emerge victorious.
