RuneScape: Dragonwilds Launches Early Access Just Two Weeks After Announcement

Jagex has surprised fans by launching RuneScape: Dragonwilds into early access, only two weeks following its initial trailer reveal.

Surprise!

Jagex has unveiled its open-world survival crafting game, RuneScape: Dragonwilds, introducing it into early access just weeks after its initial announcement on March 31. A developer livestream was anticipated prior to launch for deeper insights regarding release specifics, but the actual launch took place unexpectedly.

The game, which was first teased in 2022 and mentioned again in October 2024, remained largely mysterious until this recent update.

Jagex’s Jesse America stated, “We’ve been working hard to develop an entirely new type of RuneScape experience that ignites fans’ passion.”

While Dragonwilds diverges from the traditional RuneScape experience, it promises robust lore and gameplay features, ensuring plenty of quests for players. Expect updates throughout early access as Jagex incorporates community feedback to enhance the experience.
