Crosswalks in Silicon Valley Play Satirical Messages from Musk and Zuckerberg Impersonators

A quirky incident has occurred in Silicon Valley where hacked crosswalk buttons deliver satirical messages from impersonators of tech giants Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, raising eyebrows among residents.

Residents in several communities of Silicon Valley have been sharing videos capturing their interactions with crosswalk buttons that seem to have been altered in a rather humorous fashion. Instead of the regular traffic safety alerts, these hacked buttons play satirical announcements from soundalikes of notable personalities like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg.

One impersonated voice resembling Zuckerberg made a notable remark:

“It’s normal to feel uncomfortable or even violated as we forcefully insert AI into every facet of your conscious experience. And I just want to assure you, you don’t need to worry because there’s absolutely nothing you can do to stop it.”

Another message, attributing to Musk, stated:

“Okay, look, you don’t know the level of depravity I would stoop to just for a crumb of approval.”

It’s yet to be determined whether these messages were fabricated using AI-generated voices or if actors were hired for this peculiar project. City officials have identified twelve affected intersections and temporarily disabled the audio feature pending repairs. Residents have found entertainment in this unusual scenario, although city officials are eager to restore normal functionality as soon as possible.
