Release Date Announced for Dating Sim 'Date Everything'
The unique dating sim where everyday objects become love interests has finally set a release date for June 17.
The dating simulator Date Everything has finally confirmed its release date after a delay that occurred earlier this year. Set to launch on June 17, it’s time to pencil this date in for what could be an iconic entry in the world of dating sims.
During a recent update on its Steam page, Sassy Chap Games announced the new launch details, revealing essential content updates as well. Players will have a selection of 100 fully voiced characters, each leading to multiple endings based on dialogue choices.
Noteworthy voice actors such as Matt Mercer, Ben Starr, Laura Bailey, Neil Newbon, and Troy Baker lend their talents to the characters, making it all the more intriguing. Imagine the option to court a humanoid D20 or a treadmill! If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, there’s bound to be a character that’s just right for you.
Originally slated for a February 14 release, the game was pushed back for further testing as the team aimed to ensure all the unique narrative paths would work seamlessly. Finally, fans will be able to experience the chaotic fun of Date Everything.
Alongside the announcement, a new trailer features the game’s ‘host’, Skylar, who explains the gameplay mechanics where objects in the house can come to life, including items like Harper, the laundry hamper, and Front Dorian, the front door.
Skylar also emphasizes that gameplay won’t solely revolve around love. Players can explore three types of relationships: love, friendship, and hate, which will impact interactions significantly. Get ready for an experience that promises to blend humor and relatable absurdity in one memorable game.
