On April 13, the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet series announced a new Seven-Star Tera Raid challenge coinciding with Easter weekend. Trainers will face the draconic Salamence, known for its power and versatility in battles. This event will allow trainers an opportunity to capture this formidable creature during its two available runs.

As one of the classic Dragon-type Pokémon introduced in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, Salamence has a plethora of attack options, including the notable Dual Wingbeat and Dragon Claw. Players in Pokemon Scarlet may also encounter a unique Past Paradox version named Roaring Moon, whereas Salamence’s prior forms are more accessible in Pokemon Violet.

Expect strategies to evolve around Salamence’s abilities, making use of both its Intimidate and Moxie capabilities, as trainers prepare for a challenging battle this Easter season.
