Gainward's Striking Frost Edition RTX 5090 D Spotted Ahead of Launch

A stunning frosty variant of the Gainward RTX 5090 D graphics card has been revealed, showcasing its unique aesthetic design before its upcoming release.

Gainward has recently unveiled a visually stunning edition of their RTX 5090 D graphics card, featuring an all-white design adorned with snowflake motifs. This card is particularly appealing for those looking to match it with a sleek, white-themed build in their gaming setups.

As reported by Videocardz, the card showcases its unique design, including sharp facial features that encircle the cooling fan and includes branding along its body.

The D series, including this RTX 5090 D variant, has become necessary due to export restrictions around AI-enhanced products aimed at China. These cards deliver reduced performance capabilities compared to their counterparts, a move that has raised eyebrows yesterday among consumers.

While waiting for the specifics on this card’s performance, it retains the same memory specifications as the standard RTX 5090 model (32GB GDDR7) and shares the same CUDA core count (21,760). However, a launch date and pricing details remain unannounced.

Despite its anticipated release, there’s still uncertainty regarding the card’s availability and whether it will be offered outside of China, where exclusive tech collaborations are increasingly common, like those from Razer and other brands. For many enthusiasts, this frosty aesthetic is a dream come true, despite concerns over performance diminution.
