Leaked Information Points to Arakko as Next Map for Marvel Rivals Season 2

New leaks hint at the addition of Arakko to the Marvel Rivals map roster, highlighting its significance in mutant lore.

Summary

A leak suggests Arakko will be the next Marvel Rivals map in Season 2, inspired by the comics. X0X_LEAK reveals leaks about Arakko’s lore entries in game files hinting at Ultron’s attack. Arakko’s importance in the mutant lore of Krakoa makes the new map rumor likely to be true.

Details

A Marvel Rivals leak indicates that Arakko will be the next map added to the game. With comic book heroes and villains as playable characters, the Marvel Rivals maps bring notable locations inspired by the comics to the games.

Marvel Rivals has 15 maps available so far. The initial maps to launch in the hero shooter were Yggsgard: Yggdrasill Path and Yggdrasill Path: Royal Palace, which explore iconic locations in Asgard. NetEase has previously added four maps, including Sanctum Sanctorum, Midtown, and Central Park, depicting the chaos from Dracula’s invasion in the first season.

Now, a new Marvel Rivals leak has been shared, indicating another map, inspired by a well-known comic book location, could be arriving soon.

Possible New Features

Reputable leaker X0X_LEAK hinted that Arakko will be the second map that Marvel Rivals will add in Season 2. According to them, new lore entries have been located in the game files: one discusses an attack on Krakoa, presumably from Ultron, with the intruder seizing Cerebro and heading to Arakko. Another entry indicates the mutants of Krakoa lost contact with those in Arakko, and even the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda has been unable to locate the nation. The information was also discussed by Miller Ross, known for sharing other Marvel Rivals leaks, noting that the map may launch on May 30, along with Ultron and the mid-season update.
