AMD Announces Launch Date for Radeon RX 9070 XT GPUs

AMD has officially set a release date for the highly anticipated Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics cards, expected to hit the market in March 2025.

AMD has finally confirmed the release date for the eagerly awaited Radeon RX 9070 and 9070 XT GPUs, which are set to launch in March 2025. While an exact date has not been disclosed, the anticipation is palpable among gamers looking for powerful, value-oriented graphics cards.

Notably, David McAfee, head of AMD’s consumer CPU and GPU division, shared on social media that the new Radeon 9000 series hardware and software is shaping up positively. He expressed eagerness for gamers to experience the upcoming graphics cards when they become available.

“Radeon 9000 series hardware and software are looking great. Can’t wait for gamers to get their hands on the cards when they go on sale in March!”

Translation: AMD’s public relations indicate a wide availability of these graphics cards internationally, aiming for a robust market presence. There were many previous doubts regarding the timelines due to changes in the product development strategy, especially since the previous generation of GPUs, the RX 7000 series, was released at the end of 2022.

As discussions regarding pricing and performance grow, rumors suggest that the Radeon RX 9070 XT could compete with Nvidia’s RTX 4080, potentially offering similar performance levels, contributing to AMD’s competitive stance in the GPU market. The upcoming release has sparked increased interest and raised expectations across the gaming community.
