Marvel Rivals Season 2 Introduces New PC Feature for Improved FPS Performance

The second season of Marvel Rivals brings a significant update aimed at enhancing the gaming experience for players with less RAM.

Summary

Marvel Rivals Season 2 is set to unveil a new feature named Switch Shader Compilation Mode, specifically designed for players on PC who are facing frame rate issues. This new option aims to preload shader compilations following game updates or GPU changes, which should alleviate performance problems for users with 16 GB of RAM or less.

The second season, called Hellfire Gala, will also introduce the much-anticipated Krakoa map and feature Emma Frost as the newest Vanguard character. Players can look forward to her defining telekinetic abilities and a variety of exciting gameplay opportunities when Season 2 launches on April 11, 2025, at 4:00 AM ET.
