The ESL has announced the IEM Melbourne 2025, scheduled from April 21 to 27, at the Rod Laver Arena in Australia. This event will see 16 teams compete for the lion’s share of a $300,000 prize pool.

Event Highlights

• Playoff Tickets: Available from January 23.
• Format: Teams will be divided into two double-elimination groups playing all matches in a BO3 format. The top three teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.

“The Australian crowd consistently brings something special to our Counter-Strike events,” says Marc Winther, ESL’s Director of Game Ecosystems. “The atmosphere in the arena is always unique, filled with energy and fun, and that comes across online as well.”

The tournament will follow Valve’s Tournament Operating Requirements.
