In a recent update, Microsoft has announced that several previously malfunctioning Ubisoft games are now operational on Windows 11 following the rollout of the 24H2 update. The games affected included notable titles such as Star Wars Outlaws, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and various entries from the Assassin’s Creed series.
These issues were largely due to bugs that caused crashes during gameplay, which have now been addressed through a series of hotfixes from Ubisoft. According to Microsoft:
“Star Wars Outlaws and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora are no longer affected by this issue due to temporary hotfixes deployed by Ubisoft. While these fixes mitigate the crashes, players might still experience some performance issues.”
Furthermore, Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Origins, and Valhalla are reportedly no longer encountering problems due to the resolutions provided in the latest updates from Ubisoft.
The Windows 11 24H2 rollout is becoming more automated as Microsoft begins to push the update to compatible systems. This change applies to both Home and Pro versions, though Enterprise users may still have to wait. Overall, the gaming community is hopeful that the remaining issues will be resolved in the near future, as ongoing glitches could detract from the gaming experience.
