Valkyrae's Cameo Cut from A Minecraft Movie Amid Accusations Against Jason Momoa

Streamer Valkyrae unexpectedly finds her cameo in A Minecraft Movie removed after she expressed concerns about the treatment of crew members on set.

In what appears to be a surprising twist, streamer Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter has revealed that her brief role in A Minecraft Movie has been cut. This news follows her previous remarks about actress Jason Momoa, whom she accused of mishandling crew members during the filming.

Prior to the launch of A Minecraft Movie, Valkyrae was set to make a cameo alongside several other streamers; however, she announced during a recent livestream that her segment had been removed. “I’m not going to delve into it too much,” she mentioned, affirming she would have shared substantial screen time akin to others’ cameos, totaling around 30 seconds.

Valkyrae noted, “I would much rather not have that 30 seconds than be sued. So, it’s all good, okay?” She recounted her enjoyable ten days spent in New Zealand for the shoot, adding, “I feel like things could have been so much worse.” After this statement, she refrained from dishing out further details but hinted at the upbeat ending with a reminder, “It’s not even Minecraft. It’s not even their fault that my cameo was cut.”

Interestingly, this incident follows Valkyrae’s past criticism of Momoa’s on-set behavior, where she described him as being excessively irate and treating crew members poorly. Valkyrae’s statements stand as a cloud over her removal, stirring speculation about potential repercussions for her appearance being scrapped. Attempts to acquire comments from Warner Bros. regarding this matter have yet to elicit a response.
