The next title in the fighting game series Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has stirred up the community with its unexpected addition of DJ Salvatore Ganacci. Many fans are baffled by this selection, seeing it as an unusual choice for the game’s character roster.
Ganacci is recognized for his performances at popular music festivals, particularly in Saudi Arabia and at Tomorrowland, along with hits like Take Me To America and Step-Grandma. Responses on social media indicate confusion and dissatisfaction with his inclusion, with some fans even admitting they were unfamiliar with him.
Unlike the earlier release Garou: Mark of the Wolves, which introduced several new characters, City of the Wolves is bringing back familiar faces from both Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting. This upcoming title marks a significant return after a 26-year hiatus; the last installment released was back in 1999.
Developed by SNK, City of the Wolves had its open beta in February 2025, showcasing eight fighters across four unique stages. It’s set for full release on April 24, 2025, spanning PC, PlayStation, and Xbox Series platforms.
