Path of Exile 2 Studio Apologizes for Delays in Customer Support

Grinding Gear Games acknowledges a backlog in support requests following the launch of their game.

Grinding Gear Games has expressed regret over the slow response times to customer support inquiries related to Path of Exile 2. The studio reported a staggering 545,000 email requests since the game’s launch in November, which significantly exceeded their support capacity.

“In the lead-up to the launch of Path of Exile 2’s early access we began to ramp up our customer support team,” Grinding Gear noted in a Steam update. Translation: 在《通天塔2》提前开放时,我们开始增加我们的客户支持团队。

The studio also revealed they have increased their support staff to address the influx of requests, which they claim has been approximately 10 times busier than during previous peak periods. Despite these challenges, the developers remain optimistic about the situation.

Grinding Gear Games stated, “We really appreciate everyone’s patience while the Support Team has been working hard to get through the requests we receive. You deserve better customer service than we’ve been able to provide, and we’re sorry for that.”

Despite the backlog, player interest remains high, with concurrent player peaks reaching over 290,000 in the last 24 hours. This demand for player support has been notable, highlighting just how engaged the community is with the game.

Those affected by delayed responses have been advised not to send follow-up emails, which may reset their position in the queue. The studio continues to actively seek additional support staff to ensure improved service levels in the future.
