Aokzoe's Next Handheld Gaming PC: A Bolder Upgrade

Aokzoe unveils the A1 X handheld gaming PC, promising better specs without a complete redesign.

Aokzoe’s Upcoming Handheld Gaming PC

Aokzoe is poised to launch its next handheld gaming PC, the A1 X, which appears to merely enhance its predecessor, the A1 Pro, with improved specifications.

The specifications indicate that the A1 X will have a larger battery and the latest AMD Ryzen 9 AI HX 370 processor, providing a substantial performance boost.

Key Features:

  • Processor: Equipped with a Strix Point APU featuring 12 CPU cores and 16 RDNA 3.5 graphics units.
  • Display: Retains an 8-inch size with a superior refresh rate of 120 Hz and VRR support.
  • Battery: Houses a 72.5 Wh battery, ensuring longevity during gaming sessions.

Leveraging the same design, the A1 X does not compromise on performance, aiming for up to a 33% increase in gaming efficiency compared to the A1 Pro. However, software refinement is still in question, as the existing interface has room for improvement.

Pricing predictions suggest the A1 X may exceed $1,000 at launch, following its predecessor’s pattern, which retails at $910 on platforms like Amazon.
