Terra Invicta Update Introduces Exofighters and New Alien Threats

The renowned space strategy game, Terra Invicta, has launched a significant update enhancing gameplay with new features, improved diplomacy, and advanced weaponry for alien foes.

Terra Invicta, a space 4X strategy game by the creators of XCOM’s Long War mod, received a major update that introduces numerous enhancements.

With new features, visual improvements, and gameplay balance adjustments, this update aims to make the game even richer. Players will discover new small ships known as exofighters, capable of launching into low-Earth orbit.

However, in a typical XCOM twist, these advancements come alongside two new alien ship classes (the titan and the lancer), equipped with advanced weapons that enhance the threat level to Earth.

Other updates include:

  • 35 new character traits and two new classes.
  • Nations can now invest in three new developmental paths: government, environment, and oppression.
  • Improved diplomacy, allowing factions to share intelligence.
  • In battle, players can now set formations before the fight begins.

The game’s UI and visual elements have seen significant upgrades, with a revamped ship designer and a more accessible tech tree for improved navigation.

For more details, players can view the full update list on the Steam page. Despite three years in early access, the game’s version only reaches 0.4.78, indicating there’s still more to come from Pavonis Interactive.
