Luken Makes a Triumphant Return to 9z

After a notable absence spanning two and a half years, Luca ‘Luken’ Nadotti returns to 9z, rejoining the lineup to reinforce the team’s efforts in competitive play.

Luken’s history with 9z is significant; this marks his third time with the team, having previously played with them for four months in 2019 and five months in 2022, which culminated in a successful qualification for PGL Major Antwerp alongside Martin ‘rox’ Molina, making them the first Argentinian players to achieve this milestone.

This move corroborates part of a report from Dust2.com.br on January 6, which also hinted at the inclusion of Gustavo ‘yel’ Knittel as a coach.

Luken’s role will be as a rifler, taking the spot of Nicolás ‘buda’ Kramer in the evolving roster of 9z as they prepare for the upcoming 2025 season.

He returns after having played a modest 47 maps since July 2022, predominantly with BESTIA at the start of 2023. Notably, his performance as a stand-in for 9z in May last year earned him a commendable 1.10 rating over 8 maps.

As 9z gears up for the 2024 season, they anticipate Luken’s addition to bolster their squad, especially after a year marked by a semi-final appearance at IEM Dallas and a significant win at FiReLEAGUE Global Finals.

Current Roster of 9z:

  • Maximiliano Gonzalez Maximiliano ‘max’ Gonzalez
  • Franco Garcia Franco ‘dgt’ Garcia
  • Antonio Martinez Antonio ‘MartinezSa’ Martinez
  • Matias Ibañez Matias ‘HUASOPEEK’ Ibañez Hernandez
  • Luken Nadotti Luca ‘Luken’ Nadotti
