Moose Artillery Shooters Open for Beta Testing This Weekend

A unique multiplayer shooter featuring moose-propelled artillery will have its open beta testing this weekend.

Open Beta for Striden

Serious-looking multiplayer shooter Striden has drawn interest since its intriguing premise of moose artillery. Players will have a chance to participate in a pre-release open beta starting at 10 AM ET on April 4 and will run until 6 AM ET on April 6. A second open beta weekend is also planned for April 11-13.

Story Background

Moose artillery exists as a quirky result of a war in Scandinavia, which transitioned into chaos following the deployment of tactical nukes. As described, “artillery is heavy.”

In a humorous tone, players are reminded that despite possible moose operations echoing real-world folklore, the idea is no less outlandish for a video game. Players can venture beyond the constraints of reality, retaliating with heavy artillery or even with a hammer.
