FromSoftware’s Elden Ring: Nightreign is set to release on May 30, ramping up its marketing with the debut of a character trailer showcasing Ironeye, a unique archer class emphasizing dexterity.
What We Know About Ironeye
Unlike previous titles, Nightreign features preset character classes. Ironeye will bring a fast-paced playstyle to the game, allowing players to shoot while moving or jumping. One notable aspect is its ultimate attack, where arrows can be shot at point-blank range and then retrieved as a counter-move.
Dark Souls players might draw parallels to the Silver Knights of Anor Londo when using this character’s skills.
Gameplay Expectations
As Ironeye, you’ll start with a bow but can use a variety of dexterity-based weapons found during gameplay. Additionally, character abilities such as reviving teammates from a distance with melee can add a supportive role even in intense combat situations.
For more insights, check out the trailer on YouTube. Morgan Park, who tested the game, mentioned, “Nightreign breaks more Souls game rules than anything before it, offering a fresh but familiar experience for fans of the series.”
Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting title!
