Ex-Payday Developers Find Solution to Player Conflicts in New Co-Op Heist Game

Former Payday 2 developers claim to have addressed issues of player disagreements in their upcoming title, Den of Wolves.

The upcoming co-op heist game Den of Wolves aims to minimize player arguments that often arise in titles like Payday 2, where discussions over strategy can lead to frustration.

Simon Viklund, co-founder of 10 Chambers, emphasized in a recent interview that the game is designed to foster collaboration. “Den of Wolves is intended to make it easy for players to work together—essentially, ’the bar is low’ for getting along.”

The game will feature various approaches to complete missions while allowing the host to dictate the strategy in advance, potentially reducing conflict among players. Viklund highlighted that, unlike traditional setups, the host will have significant control over how the objectives unfold, helping to avoid tactical disputes during gameplay.
