After Nearly Two Decades, One of the Top PSP Titles is Finally Arriving on PC

The acclaimed rhythm game Patapon will make its debut on PC as a remastered collection this summer.

The Return of Patapon

The beloved rhythm game Patapon, known for its unique gameplay that combines rhythm and strategy, is finally making a move to PC after nearly 20 years. The remastered collection, titled Patapon 1+2 Replay, is scheduled for release on July 10 and will be available on Steam.

Originally released on the PSP, Patapon allows players to take on the role of a god directing an army of animated warrior creatures with rhythmic commands utilizing four mystical drums. Players will conduct military commands while facing various enemies.

This remaster is not just a simple port; it includes updated graphics, new quality-of-life features such as adjustable difficulty settings, and full controller support. Additionally, both Patapon and its sequel will be available in this new compilation.

Patapon was well-loved at launch, receiving numerous awards and critical acclaim, making its transition to PC a highly anticipated event in the gaming community.
