Updates Enlarge Banana Area on Inferno in Latest CS2 Patch

The latest update for Counter-Strike 2 features significant changes on the Inferno map, including a wider Banana area and new skins.

Counter-Strike 2 has recently rolled out a new update, making important adjustments to the maps Inferno and Train. Prominent modifications include such enhancements as:

  • The Banana area on Inferno has been widened to better align with its version from CS:GO.
  • Visual simplifications in key locations across both maps enhance clarity for players.
  • Changes to the visual elements that affect movement and player experience have been implemented.

Among the adjustments made:

  • Inferno: The pixel gap at Coffin has been removed while steps beside Arch have been adjusted, affecting player visibility and movement mechanics.

  • Additionally, many player’s commonly occupied positions now have enhanced backgrounds.

  • Train: Similar cleanup has been executed, targeting areas like Z, Ivy, and upper B to create a more fluid gaming experience.

Furthermore, the patch introduces nearly 100 new skins, accessible through the latest Fever Case and aligned with the updated visuals on the maps.

  • Added three new weapon collections: Ascent, Boreal, and Radiant.
  • Removed four previous collections: Bank, Italy, Lake, and the original Train collection.

  • Introduced new content including The Train 2025 Collection and a new Limited Edition Item, the XM1014 | Solitude.

[ MAPS ]

  • Inferno:

    • Adjusted Banana
    • Enhanced visibility in multiple sectors
    • Removed certain steps and gaps for increased accessibility
  • Train:

    • Simplified backgrounds for better navigation
    • Adjusted overhead structures for easier utility throws.
