RuneScape: Dragonwilds is set to launch in early access this spring on Steam. This new title from Jagex offers an open-world survival experience, allowing for gameplay with 1-4 players. The game will introduce unique mechanics involving magic for tasks such as crafting and resource gathering.

Jagex initially teased this game in October 2024 and has now revealed that players will battle against antagonistic dragons while managing their survival through crafting and exploration.

A key feature of the gameplay will allow players to utilize magic in various ways, such as exploding ore veins or instantly chopping down trees, moving away from traditional methods of gathering resources.

The game aims to blend high fantasy with familiar RuneScape lore, fostering an environment that caters to both long-time fans and new players.

Further updates and features will be revealed in a deep dive scheduled for April 15 via Twitch. Users can look forward to a full release potentially in early 2026.
