Introducing Call of Duty Soaps: The Unnamed Product

Dr Squatch unveils a line of soaps inspired by Call of Duty characters, sparking amusement over its name choice.

Dr. Squatch has partnered with Activision to launch a series of soaps inspired by iconic characters from the Call of Duty franchise. The products highlight Lieutenant Simon “Ghost” Riley and Sergeant John “Soap” MacTavish.

Interestingly, none of the soaps is named Soap’s Soap, leading to some bemusement among fans. Instead, they are marketed under the name “Sarge Soap.”

“Prepare for your mission with Sarge Soap—a moisturizing bricc inspired by Lt. ‘Soap’ MacTavish crafted to keep you battle-ready with scents of Scottish juniper, pine, and moss.”

The clever marketing may attract attention, but the name choice leaves many questioning the creativity involved, especially given the character’s well-known nickname.

In addition to soaps, there are also deodorants themed around Ghost and Soap available in a four-pack on their website. This product release is notably more subdued compared to other unusual gaming-themed merchandise seen in the past, like the Monster Hunter perfume.
