Upcoming Game from Former Rockstar Producer Set to Release in June

Build a Rocket Boy reveals details about its new game titled MindsEye, launching this June.

MindsEye Game Overview

Build a Rocket Boy, the studio established by former Rockstar North chief Leslie Benzies, has announced an exciting new title named MindsEye, set to be released on June 10. The game, reminiscent of the Grand Theft Auto series, is positioned within a dystopian future city called Redrock City.

Storyline

MindsEye explores themes of power and corruption in a near-future setting, where an eccentric inventor, Marco Silva, aims to alter the trajectory of human evolution against the backdrop of political tension involving Shiva Vega, the city’s ambitious mayor. The narrative follows Jacob Diaz, the game’s main character, as he navigates his troubling past amidst escalating unrest.

What to Expect

With a trailer recently unveiled, the game’s cinematic style emphasizes story and drama rather than traditional gameplay features. Fans might notice that it closely mirrors stylistic elements of Rockstar games, which is not surprising given Benzies’ history with the acclaimed developer.

Game Availability

MindsEye can be pre-purchased now on Steam for $60, with pre-orders including exclusive bonuses. This title aims for a simultaneous launch on PC and consoles, diverging from the typical staggered releases seen in some franchises.
