Crytek has exciting news for fans of Hunt: Showdown with a major patch rollout that introduces a plethora of gameplay adjustments alongside a fresh event.
New Event: Garden of the Witch This event immerses players in a clash between nature and industry, featuring new characters: the mystical Bruja duo and the industrial Welders. Each character battles against corruption in unique ways.
The event also reintroduces several traits from past events and adds a new ‘rare supply’ type, which moves to various locations marked by a unique map icon and black canvas.
Weapon Additions and Improvements Players can now utilize several new weapon variants, including shortened Mosin Nagant rifles and a modified 1865 carbine equipped with a silencer for quieter shots.
Patch Highlights Key changes in patch 2.3 include a decrease in silencer damage, reinforcing the importance of stealth. Additional adjustments have been made to hand crossbows and throwable weapons against AI opponents, providing a more challenging experience.
Bug Fixes The update further resolves numerous bugs, including an issue where players could achieve 100% accuracy while bunnyhopping.
