Underrated Anime Golf Series Finally Comes to PC
The beloved Everybody's Golf series is set to launch on PC, marking a significant milestone in its nearly 30-year history.
Golf isn’t often recognized as a major e-sport, possibly due to many games featuring real-life golfers, often seen as merely old names. However, the Everybody’s Golf series, thriving since the late ’90s, stands out. Combining a whimsical style with realistic gameplay mechanics, it’s the only golf series that has genuinely entertained me with swinging a club repeatedly.
Despite fears about the series fading after its last release in 2017, the latest Nintendo Direct has revealed an entry titled Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots, which is set to launch on Steam this year. This will be the first installment in the series available for PC.
I’m particularly excited for this news—there’s something delightful about playing as an exaggerated anime character while golfing. Our team will surely include at least two fans eager to purchase this title upon release.
Currently, there’s no exact launch date, but we are aware that it will feature single-player and online modes, including a new ‘Wacky Golf’ mode designed to present fresh challenges. I can’t wait to hit the greens with some of you!
